Listing means the admission of a company's securities to trading on a stock exchange. Listing is not a compulsory act under the Companies Act 2013/1956. It only important when a public limited company wants to issue shares or debentures (debt) to public.
A listed security is a financial instrument that is traded through an exchange. Shares or debt can be listed.
The information required to be set out in listing particulars is determined by the relevant exchange on which they will be listed and with which the listing particulars comply.
